Kuya Center @ 35: A Journey of Partnership, Purpose & Possibility

It felt fitting that Kuya Center for Street Children marked its 35th anniversary on Valentine’s Day — a celebration of love expressed not in words alone, but in decades of action.

For 35 years, Kuya Center has walked alongside disadvantaged and formerly street-involved boys, offering not just shelter, but dignity, education, healing, and a renewed sense of belonging. Their mission has always centered on restoring childhood, strengthening families, and empowering young lives to dream beyond circumstance.

What makes this milestone powerful is the community behind it — individuals, families, companies, and organizations whose generosity and steady commitment have helped transform lives over the years.

At Bahay Turo, we are grateful to be part of that journey. Through personalized tutoring sessions, we support each child’s learning in ways that are patient, intentional, and deeply human. With your help, these moments of growth become stepping stones toward brighter futures.

Thirty-five years is not just a number. It is thousands of second chances, quiet breakthroughs, and stories still unfolding. And that’s the kind of legacy worth celebrating.
